In Paris, at Porte de Versailles, in Hall 1 of the Parc des Expositions, Hyvolution, an international event dedicated to hydrogen, is taking place until Thursday. MissionH24, the collaborative program between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project for a zero-emission CO2 competition, is actively participating in the promotion of this energy carrier. Strategic vision, conferences, exhibitions, new partners, safety training… the commitments are numerous.
HYDROGEN STRATEGY
Among the first presentations at the show, the exchange between Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and Co-President of MissionH24, and Didier Leroy, Chairman of Toyota Motor Europe, provided an opportunity to share committed strategic visions for hydrogen, while also acknowledging the current, rather “gloomy” situation in France and Europe regarding hydrogen deployment. “As in endurance racing, success depends on collaboration. Toyota is fully committed to building this future by investing, innovating, and forging partnerships,” Didier Leroy emphasized. “The road ahead is fraught with challenges but incredibly stimulating. The next chapter of mobility is being written today, and we are proud to contribute to it with all of you.” The message was clear: “Never give up,” despite the obstacles, the setbacks, and the progress made by other countries, Pierre Fillon stressed.

ENDURANCE RACING: A RESEARCH LABORATORY FOR HYDROGEN
To illustrate the impact of motorsport on mobility, and particularly on the energy transition, a roundtable discussion dedicated to research conducted by engineers and manufacturers involved in competition allowed Bernard Niclot (ACO), Nicolas Aubourg (FIA), Pascal Vasselon (Toyota Racing), Bassel Aslan (MissionH24), Pierre-Jean Tardy (Alpine Racing), and Julien Jehanne (Ligier Automotive) to present their work on hydrogen. How can sport play a role? What developments will it initiate? The working methods specific to the demands of motorsport were presented. As a reminder, in Hall 1 of this trade show dedicated to the hydrogen ecosystem, three endurance prototypes are on display: the Ligier JS2 RH2, the Alpine Alpenglow Hy6, and the MissionH24 H24EVO.

MISSIONH24, TRAINING AND PARTNERS
At the MissionH24 booth (D28), the H24EVO is the centerpiece, but other exhibits also attract visitors, such as the Michelin « educational » tire that explains its components, including its 71% sustainable materials. Forvia also presents a model highlighting the criteria for a liquid hydrogen tank, while the Ensosp (National Higher School for Fire and Rescue Officers) demonstrates the benefits of collaboration between civil defense and racing teams in creating H2 safety training modules.
Proof of the appeal of this H2 racing program, the H24’s livery now features the names of two new partner companies: AVL Racetech and Purflux Group.
