During the second round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, as the motorsport competition showcases its research into more sustainable racing and mobility on the Belgian track, European teachers will learn about hydrogen at a forum organized at the circuit by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the FIA World Endurance Championship, MissionH24 and its partners, Automotive Skills Alliance, GreenSkills for H2, and Hydrogen Europe Research.

In 2018, at Spa-Francorchamps, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, among other competitions, unveiled MissionH24, a collaborative program now being carried out with H24Project. The goal: to deploy hydrogen in competition for zero-CO2 racing and mobility.

Logically, it was at Spa-Francorchamps in 2024, the setting for the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, that it was decided, together with European entities committed to the energy transition, to organize an H2 forum dedicated to European teachers curious to discover hydrogen and its potential.

In 2026, this forum will be held for the third time, combining theoretical courses and practical sessions with hydrogen experts.

Registration is open until March 23 on the Registration Form website for teachers only.

The public will have the opportunity to visit the Hydrogen Village, located in the fan zone, and watch demonstrations of hydrogen vehicles on the track on Friday and Saturday.
