The collaborative program between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project to decarbonize motorsports will showcase its latest prototype, the H24EVO, in São Paulo during the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), July 10–12. This will be an opportunity to share with the public and the media the endurance racing strategy for driving the energy transition.

Following the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the first demonstration run of a prototype powered by liquid hydrogen, the Toyota TR LH2 Racing Prototype, and the FIA’s official announcement of the Hydrogen category for 2030, it is now in São Paulo, the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), that hydrogen’s potential will be showcased to spectators.

MissionH24 is exhibiting a scale model of the future H24EVO, its third prototype, following the LMPH2G and the H24.

Set up in the fan zone, the H24EVO illustrates endurance racing’s commitment to decarbonizing competition and, more broadly, mobility. More than ever, motorsports serve as a technological laboratory, particularly for the deployment of hydrogen and its future applications.

A conference will be held on Saturday, July 11, at 11:30 a.m. (4:30 p.m. in France), featuring the following speakers:

  • Pierre Fillon, President of the ACO
  • Frédéric Lequien, CEO of LMEM
  • Marek Nawarecki, Director of the Circuit Sports Department
  • Bassel Aslan, Technical Director of MissionH24
  • Philippe Tramond, Technical Director of Michelin Motorsport

The discussion will focus on the challenges of decarbonization through motorsports and the potential of hydrogen.

Spectators will be able to check out the H24EVO starting July 10 in the fan zone and speak with Bassel Aslan on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. (3.30 p.m. in France).
