MissionH24 is steered by the Presidents of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, Pierre Fillon, and H24Project, Jean-Michel Bouresche. Those in charge of managing the project are experts from the two entities.

Pierre Fillon

President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest

Pierre Fillon discovered the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966 thanks to his grandfather. Since then the Le Mans native has not missed a race. In parallel to his professional activity as an ophthalmic surgeon, he has fulfilled his passion for driving by taking part in training courses and events. In 1995, he joined the ACO after which he was appointed as administrator in December 2003. In November 2006, he became a member of the steering committee and was elected president of the club on 31st May 2012. In its role as defender of road users the ACO plays an active role in the development of tomorrow’s mobility. Fillon, who is co-president of MissionH24, has stated his determination to promote hydrogen in car racing.

Jean-Michel Bouresche

President of H24Project

Jean-Michel Bouresche founded JMB Racing in 1995, winning 14 international titles (Trophée Andros, Porsche Supercup, GT FIA, Sports prototypes) until 2010, when he sold the company. Having joined GreenGT as a director in 2008, he became Managing Director of the French subsidiary GreenGT Technologies when it was created in 2012. The company became autonomous and independent in July 2023, and took the name H24Project in October 2023, continuing its collaboration with the ACO and partners in the MissionH24 program.
